Woodle is the sweetest dog ever! She is an adorable brown and white pit-mix (maybe Boxer in there somewhere?) who is almost a year old and about 48 lbs. Woodle was found running down a very busy street back in March of 09. She has since been spayed and fully vetted. She is heartworm negative and housetrained. She is very playful and would do well with another dog to get to roughhouse with.  Woodle is very intelligent and does respond well to training and commands. She is also great with people of all ages as well as other dogs and cats!! Minnie was found foraging for food in a commercial area. She has been in a foster home now for a little over two months and what a change!! This emaciated sweet pup has blossomed into a beautiful, healthy young lady! She is loaded with energy and LOVES other dogs! She’s like Curious George and a real easy-go-lucky dog. She loves cats and only wishes they would play more with her. She’s not much of a ball player but she loves to chase the dogs who ARE chasing the ball! She would be a great dog to run with if that’s your pleasure but anything active would suit her. She’s smart and so, so sweet! She’s not a barker and is house broken but will need to go to a home who believes in crates as she’s still learning the ropes and would be too overwhelmed with too much freedom while her “people” were away. She is heartworm negative and has been fully vetted, spayed and microchipped. She’s around 2 years old and between 35-40 lbs. She has this prance to her gait almost like a walking horse and is such an endearing little girl! She would be best in a house where she has some room to run outside ideally with another canine friend but at least with owner/s who regularly get her some exercise…whether it’s visits to the dog park, doggie day-care, walks, runs, hikes, whatever! Maggie is a lover to say the least! All she wants to do is be close to you…on the couch, in the car, in the bed…wherever you are and whatever you’re doing she just wants to be your side kick! She is a companion animal and would be fine as an only dog because she cares way more about people than she does her canine friends. She is an easy dog who loves walks and being active but doesn’t require a lot of hard-core exercise. She can hike with her people forever in the woods and will play some ball in the backyard but is just as content to curl up and watch a movie or take a car ride to the store. She does need to go to a home where she will have plenty of human contact and interaction as it’s what she so longs for! She is currently in a foster home with dogs and cats and has done great but she deserves to be the main attraction! Maggie is around 3 years old. She’s fully vetted, spayed and microchipped. She’s a heinz-fifty-seven but her ears make her look like she’s part ewok! She’s 40 pounds and all heart and deserves to be in a place where what she has to give is reciprocated to this sweet, sweet girl!! All of our dogs and cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped.
